Happy New Year Everyone

In two days time it will be a brand new year.  And I have a few changes to make to my life. I just hope I'm going to be strong enough to make them.  I know if I make them I will be happy in the long run.  I'm one of these people who don't like changes, the make me very nervous.

So wish my luck everyone.

I wish everyone a very HAPPY NEW YEAR, may all your dreams and wishes come true.

The siege is over.

Early this morning the siege in Sydney was over.  With two of the hostages being killed and the man who was holding the hostages being shot.
I has become clear that he was known to the police.
To the two hostages that were kill my thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.  For the hostages that got out I hope in time you will be able to get on with your life.
Lets today be thankful for what we have and give our love one that extra hug and kisses.
Yes its over but I not know if it will be forgotten any time soon...........

What is the world coming too

One of 20 people taken hostage inside a Sydney cafe this morning has been seen running her thumb across her throat.
Amateur footage from Martin Place in the CBD shows the woman make the gesture as she and other hostages are forced to stand against the windows of the Lindt cafe.
It's been suggested the hostages were made to make the gesture by their captive, believed to be a solo gunman holding a handgun.
The hostages have also been forced to hold a black Islamic flag in the cafe's window reading "no god worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is his messenger".
The alarm was raised about 9.45am after witnesses saw the armed man.
Heavily-armed police have shut down large areas of the CBD.

We don't see this often in Australia, but when we do I think we stop as a nation and take a deep breath in.

I hope those hostages will be safe and it will end soon.  I cant imagine what they are going through.
I can tell you now they will never be the same again.
Prayers, love and hope to you all.
